These workshops primarily aimed to share Anzaldua's ideas within a collective process that extends beyond academic circles. At the core of these workshops lies the exploration of "inbetweenness"
and the realization that, as per Anzaldua, this state can be a painful experience yet holds the potential to create new perspectives and opportunities.
In these workshops, participants delve into the sense of "being in-between" using methods such as
drawing, mapping, and performative exercises, both individually and collectively. Structured
thus far, the workshops have included shared reading moments where participants engage with
Anzaldua's knowledge production on Nepantla, serving as a starting point for exchanging common experiences.

One exercise involves a method I experimented with during my own research, focusing on consciously and actively recalling a place from the past. Participants are encouraged to mentally engage with a specific place and, if they wish, share it with others through a drawing within the space. For instance, one participant reflected on her grandmother's house. The circular shapes on the ground represented her house, as it always felt like the house was in a different place each time she returned after visiting. These workshops specifically aim to develop methods that facilitate crafting 'Geographies of Self', as described by Anzaldua, where identities are viewed as fluid entities in
relation to others.
